Depart from Georgia Veterans State Park and enjoy a beautiful ride to Plains. Santa will be onboard the train!  After arrival into Plains, enjoy a two hour layover to explore the historic town and the Christmas Parade downtown.

Depart from Americus, GA and enjoy a 2 1/2 hour train ride aboard historic air conditioned railroad cars for an exciting, interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Train ride and try to solve who the murderer is.

Train will depart from Georgia Veterans State Park and travel to Plains. Enjoy an hour and half layover for “Trunk-or-Treat” on main street, shopping, and walking around town. We encourage everyone
to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. All passengers will receive a candy treat on board the train.

Travel from Georgia Veterans State Park Depot to President Jimmy Carter’s hometown of Plains, Georgia. Enjoy a southern style 4th of July celebration. Kid’s activities, retail shops, local food vendors, and a beautiful fireworks show at dusk.

Depart from Georgia Veterans State Park in Cordele, GA for a 1 hour and 30 minute round trip train ride. Ride aboard air conditioned historic railroad cars for a quick train ride while you enjoy wine tasting and cheese.

Come ride our one (1) hour holiday train for kids. Santa will be onboard giving out a gift for each passenger. Enjoy holiday music while having hot chocolate and cookies.

 

With Cordele celebrating their Watermelon Express, we will be offering one hour train rides from Georgia Veterans State Park.
